Beyond the Lens . . .

She ran the 2012 Marine Corps Marathon and was instantly hooked on long distance running, although the 13.1 races and trail series are her favorite. A former dancer trained in rhythm and smooth ballroom, as well as jazz, April was formerly a member of the University of Georgia Ballroom Performance Group and has performed extensively, including abroad for the Curaçao Salsa Tour. April’s educational background includes degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as the University of Georgia (Broadcast Journalism).
